The headquarters of Kompressorenbau Bannewitz GmbH (KBB) are
located in Bannewitz in the Free State of Saxony, in the
vicinity of the State capital of Dresden.
Since May 1999, KBB GmbH has been owned by the OGEPAR Group, based in Luxembourg.
The company now looks back on substantial industrial experience in the development and manufacture of turbochargers gathered over six generations. KBB manufactures various types of turbochargers equipped with axial-flow or radial-flow turbines. The company has found its customers among diesel and gas engine manufacturers – especially in the fields of marine, locomotive and industrial engineering. Since 1953, more than 44,000 turbochargers have left our production facilities in Bannewitz.
As a member of the OGEPAR Group, KBB further promotes the development of new products responding to the requirements of the engine industry.

In 1995, the company received for the first time the LRQA certificate for quality control in line with ISO 9001, the certificate being re-awarded on a half-yearly basis. All important ship classification companies certify our products before they are delivered to our customers.
KBB is constantly striving to expand the frontiers of its knowledge and competence – a process in which our personnel have a major part to play. Their ongoing commitment ensures the continuous growth of the firm and guarantees our customers the best possible service.
